BONAFÉ COMPLEX
Son Bonafé Gran is part of a complex of three dwellings in the municipality of Selva. In this project, although each dwelling is unique in its volume and spatial layout, common strategies and characteristics have been established that unite the complex, seeking harmony.
The meticulous choice of materials, the uniformity in the typologies of the shapes of the openings and the shared landscape strategies give coherence to the project. Despite these similarities, the design is distinguished by the variations incorporated in the volumes and the strategies of distribution and generation of spaces, generating a rich diversity within the conceptual unity.
INTERSECTION OF VOLUMES
The house is a large rectangular double-height volume divided into three parts: a large central space where the common living, dining and kitchen areas are located, and two areas on the sides of the volume where the bedrooms are divided into two floors.
In the central space we find large arched openings facing each other that provide very good views of the garden and on the other two sides of the volume, two wooden fronts with different treatments that house the bedrooms, which, owing to their location, have a privileged view of both the Tramuntana mountain range and the double-height interior space of the house.
