LARGE TRAYS OF VEGETATION
Set on a steeply sloping site, the dwelling is defined by large trays of dark concrete from which large masses of vegetation hang, defying the topography in search of views towards the bay. Like a house that has been there for years, invaded by vegetation.
The uniqueness of this construction lies in its strategic distribution. The public area is located on the top floor, the highest floor, thus offering the sought-after views. The distribution of this floor is in parallel bands: a covered area with the living room, dining room and kitchen, a large terrace in continuation of this space and finally a swimming pool, all facing the sea.
MAXIMISING THE VIEWS
The roof, designed to be walkable, becomes a space of enjoyment, with panoramic sea views.
This house not only adapts ingeniously to the abrupt topography of the site, but also offers a bold approach in its vertical layout to maximise the views. The fusion between the modernity of the concrete, the exuberance of the overhanging vegetation and the direct connection to the sea via the walkable terrace and deck make this residence a testament to modern design (with references to brutalism) and respect for the surrounding nature.
