THE HOUSE HANGS FROM TWO WALLS
Situated on a steep, steeply sloping plot in one of the highest areas of Mallorca, this house seeks to make the most of the height to enjoy panoramic sea views from the main floor.
Two imposing walls are projected on both sides of the plot, over which the swimming pool and the slabs that define the structure of the house are suspended. The structure of the house is conceived as an exploration, with the possibility of suspended slabs or cantilevered pools.
INTEGRATION INTO THE TOPOGRAPHY
On the main floor, there is an integrated space that includes a living room, dining room and kitchen, with large sliding windows that, when opened, connect the interior with an extensive terrace with an infinity pool. From this level, there is access to the roof, which is presented as a walkable terrace.
As the house is integrated into the plot, it generates two large back courtyards that serve to illuminate and ventilate both the main floor and the ground-floor bedrooms, which open up the bed area towards the main façade, seeking out the views.
