ECA was founded in 2005, by Alberto and Fernando Cano Schulte-Lindhorst, both architects. The office has developed since then, quickly but solid, offering the flexibility and up-to-date knowledge of a young team, and the vast experience of the family background, which dates back to the early 60’s, when Emilio Cano founded a building company in Palma de Mallorca.

Philosophy

Our design process starts from the exploration of different ideas with our clients, in order to find the design that meets their requests. As architects we are asked to address an ever-increasing number of variables and issues, which are requited to be taken into account in the development and realization of an idea. As the number of partnerts increases, the role of the architect becomes even more demanding.

As leaders of the design team, it is our responsibility to ensure that all parties involved in the complex task of building are duly heard and given the opportunity to contribute, also ensuring that social and human aspects are paid due consideration.
