CONNECTION OF THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR
The fundamental strategy behind the architectural project is to create a grid divided by a central transversal axis, on whose sides the exterior courtyards are located diagonally, creating L-shaped interior spaces on their sides, wich are divided into rooms of one or two squares.
Each room in the house has contact with one of the courtyards, on the ground floor and on the first floor. This solution means that all the spaces have great luminosity, an important connection with the exterior, and a large number of crossed visuals that allow us to see the rest of the spaces and have a greater feeling of spaciousness.
LOCAL AND NATURAL. MATERIALITY AND ATMOSPHERE
The use of local and natural materials, the connection of the interior spaces with the exterior and the use of light and shade to create the atmospheres, are fundamental strategies in the development of the project.
Materials such as lime, Balearic grey stone, wood, linen, hurdle… allow the spaces to be in harmony with the environment where they are located and to create a peaceful and minimal atmosphere, where light and vegetation give the character to the spaces.
