ESTUDIO CANO ARQUITECTURA
ECA was founded in 2005, by Alberto and Fernando Cano Schulte-Lindhorst, both architects. The office has developed since then, quickly but solid, offering the flexibility and up-to-date knowledge of a young team, and the vast experience of the family background, which dates back to the early 60´s, when Emilio Cano founded a building company in Palma de Mallorca.
HOW WE WORK
Our design process starts from the exploration of different ideas with our clients in order to find the design that meets our client’s requests. Throughout the development of the design we present layout plans and visualizations on a regular basis to our clients, who’s feedback enables us to find the design that fulfills our client’s needs. Meetings will be held in the language that our clients might find suitable, either German, English, Russian, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish or Catalan.
As architects we are asked to address an ever-increasing number of variables and issues, which are required to be taken into account in the development and realization of an idea. As the number of partners increases the role of the architect becomes ever more demanding. As leaders of the Design Team it is our responsibility to ensure that all parties involved in the complex task of building are duly heard and given the opportunity to contribute, also ensuring that social and human aspects are paid due consideration.
